Imaging Facility on Science Hill

Log on to FOM to schedule a microscope. New users should contact Joseph.Wolenski@yale.edu before signing up to use the imaging facility equipment.

The Science Hill Imaging Facility provides access and training to a broad collection of shared microscopes and lab support areas for sample preparation. The Facility is located in the Yale Science Building, Room C181.

Dr. Joseph Wolenski manages day-to-day operations in the Facility.  Joe is responsible for training new users, helping with experimental design, and coordinating instrument reservations.  Instrument usage and billing is managed via Facility Online Manager; FOM (see link above).  New users must participate in a mandatory training session with Dr. Wolenski prior to gaining access to equipment schedules via FOM.  All users are required to demonstrate essential knowledge of microscope operation using ZEN software prior to unsupervised use.
