Several MCDB faculty examine a wide range of problems in neurobiology, ranging from the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern the development of the nervous system, to the cell biology of neurons and the functioning of neural systems. In addition, several groups are interested in modeling aspects of how external stimuli are processed in the brain to result in a behavioral response.
Postdoctoral Opportunities
Prospective postdocs should contact individual faculty members about open positions. Visit the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs for more information.
Meet our Faculty
Many of our Faculty have vibrant research labs where life changing research happens. Both graduate and undergraduate students have the opportunity to work with their professors in meaningful award winning research. You’ll find the labs within the faculty members individual profiles.
