A Successful MCDB Retreat for 2019

This year’s annual MCDB department retreat was enjoyed by all who attended! Highlights included stimulating scientific talks, an excellent poster session, fun activities and entertainment organized by the 2nd-year graduate students, a warm welcome to new grad students and faculty, and outstanding weather.
Congratulations to this year’s Poster Presentation winners: Aneysis Gonzalez, Fei Zhang, Holly Merta, Javier Portillo, Mahmut Demir, Wanyue Wang and Yichen Luo.
A special thanks to David Breslow and Stavroula Hatzios for organizing this event. We hope to see everyone again in Woods Hole next year!
