New MCDB Senior Operations Manager

On Monday, October 24, Melissa Carta joined our department to take on her new role as the MCDB Senior Operations Manager. 

Melissa began her Yale career in 2007 at the Medical School, providing financial services, process improvements, and operational training for numerous YSM departments. In 2014, she joined Central Campus as the first Post Award Manager for Faculty Research Management Services (FRMS). She was promoted to Associate Director of FRMS in 2015, where she led the Post Award unit for 6 years, including through the Workday implementation and growth of the organization. Most recently, Melissa held the position of Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in YSM, responsible for supporting budgeting and planning across the school while working with departments to identify and address areas needing process improvements.
