MCDB’s Laurie Tomei Celebrates 10 years at Yale!

The Business Office staff gathered on February 14, 2019 to celebrate Laurie Tomei’s 10 years of service with the University.

Laurie began her career at Yale in April 2008, as a temporary hire in facilities when Yale purchased the former Bayer buildings, now home to Yale West Campus.  She was hired as a permanent employee in February 2009, as one of the first Administrative Assistants supporting the newly established Yale West Campus Institutes.  In 2011, she found her home in MCDB as an Administrative Assistant supporting our faculty located in OML and organizing our departmental events, namely our weekly seminars. Laurie enjoys working with all the wonderful members of MCDB and plans to stay with the department until she retires.
