Matt Midy of the Breaker Lab receives ABRCMS Poster Award

Matt Midy of the Ronald Breaker Lab received a poster award for the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Students (ABRCMS) in Anaheim, which is a conference to connect underrepresented students in STEM. Matt was one of seven juniors that received a poster award for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with thousands of students from various schools at the conference. The award was for Matt and the Breaker Lab’s work on “Engineering Aptames by Directed Evolution from Natural Riboswitch Scaffolds”.
