Binyam Mogessie - Cell Scientist to Watch

Binyam Mogessie, our newest faculty hire, who will be joining MCDB as an Assistant Professor in July 2022, has been listed as a Cell Scientist to watch in the Journal of Cell Science.  

Dr. Mogessie comes to us from the University of Bristol, School of Biochemistry where he is a Wellcome Trust and Royal Society Sir Henry Dale fellow and HFSP Young Investigator. His lab is investigating actin-and microtubule-based cytoskeletal ensembles that promote healthy egg development and embryogenesis in mammals.
