The 2nd Annual MCDB Wine & Cheese Tasting Event took place on Thursday, May 9 and featured four wines each paired with a specific cheese to bring out the flavors of both. Over 70 members of the MCDB Community attended the event sponsored by the MCDB Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. The wine lineup featured varietals from Italy, Germany, Chile and the USA. Cheeses were sourced from Holland, Italy, Switzerland and the USA. The winning combo was the Heinz Eifel “Shine” Riesling from Germany paired with the “lactic blast” of Güntensberg from Switzerland.
