Harry McNamara will be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology on January 1, 2025. He received his BA from Yale University and his Ph.D. from Harvard University and most recently was a Lewis-Siegler Scholar at Princeton University under the mentorship of Dr. Jared E. Toettcher. He is a biophysicist and bioengineer investigating stem cell self-organization. By developing new tools to interrogate and guide stem cell signaling, he aims to build a bottom-up understanding of how developmental patterns emerge from fundamental interactions between cells. Harry is also a member of the Wu Tsai Institute, and his lab and primary office will be located at 100 College Street.
