This Handbook, together with the Yale University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Programs and Policies 2025-2026 booklet, are the sources of information on the requirements in MCDB. The student is responsible for knowing the requirements and for meeting them in a timely manner. Emails will be sent to faculty and students with any newly released version of this document.

MCDB faculty members frequently have affiliations with with related Departments, Institutes, and Graduate programs/groups on the Yale campus. These affiliations provide breadth and depth to the Department and is the source of many successful collaborations.
