October 6, 2017

A number of scientists gathered for a group photo to celebrate the initial erection of structural steel for the new Yale Science Building. The excavator was used to grind sandstone to carve out the building footprint. The crawler crane in the rear is in place to set the structural steel. Kline Biology Tower (KBT), the current home of the Department of MCDB, is in the rear.
